A quick thank you message from Helen and Phil.

Hello Everyone,

We would like to say a huge thank you to all the tennis players who took part in the tournament and to everyone who supported/donated on the day.

The ‘Acorns’ charity tournament in memory of Ben went amazingly. There were some tight matches and a couple of cheeky drop shot winners. The final between Deborah T and Bob J Vs Lorraine W and Liam H was a good watch and, in the end, the winners of the Championship tiebreak by 10-6 were Lorraine W and Liam H. Congratulations to them both, they were presented with wine and chocolates, and everyone that took part received a certificate to remember the event. The certificates were kindly designed by Sarah Pallett and printed by Larissa at Melvyn Danes and we’re really grateful to them for their effort.

So far, the event has raised £277.65 in cash and when adding the online donations from the Tennis Club Members they have helped us raise a total of £440 towards the cause. That is a massive step to achieving our fund-raising goal! Thank you again for everyone who has supported us.
